Matt MacDowell works as a consultant and fractional CMO and marketing strategist/technologist for SMB, Mid-Market and Enterprise clients nationwide.
Previously working in the role of Director of Demand Generation at Proofpoint Marketing, based in Minnesota.
Responsible for leading a team of professional marketers to develop marketing strategy, execution, measurement and optimization for national and global B2B MedTech, FinTech, Consultancy agencies, engineering firms and CPG e-commerce stores.
Before assuming his role and Proofpoint in October of 2021, Matt spent five years as the Digital Marketing Manager at Restaurant Technologies, Inc. In that role he was responsible for strategic customer acquisition, establishing hyper targeted inbound lead engine that yielded 20X growth in marketing attributed closed won business. Configuring and managing Oracle Eloqua, deploying a brand redesign, designing, developing, launching and managing the corporate website, microsites, and sales development tools.
Matt has also worked with top brands Cambria, Sun Country Airlines, UFC and Cadillac. He has worked closely with the management and execution of GSA contracts to secure multi-million-dollar DOD, GSA, SERP and VA procurement vehicles in the federal procurement space. All while providing digital marketing / web development consulting services to clients locally and nationally. With over 18 years of marketing experience Matt has built and deployed over 100 websites for clients of all sizes with aligned strategic marketing plans that deliver results.
Matt is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he studied Business Administration and Marketing. A veteran of the United States Air Force. He lives in Minnesota with his wife and three children (Alyssa, Luke, Ian and Clara) and two dogs Penny an English Bulldog and Pippa a Golden Retriever.
